[OS X TeX] Safari, TeXShop, TeXLive

Well, I have installed Schubert.

This one "http://arxiv.org/pdf/math/9807081" (3 pages only) needed 1  
min 06 s to be displayed by Safari

while "http://arxiv.org/pdf/math/9707237" (12 pages) was displayed in  
some fraction of a second by Firefox, after I checked a case for the  
Schubert licence.

Then I tried "http://arxiv.org/pdf/math/9707237" (12 pages) again, but  
with Safari. It took 3 or 4 seconds.

Same for http://arxiv.org/pdf/math/9707222 with Safari and Firefox.  
Firefox 3.5.1 seems to be twice quicker than Safari 4.0.1.

So, Schubert seems to work well.

I shall install Safari 4.0.2 and try again.

Some people on the web say the cause is the Adobe plugin:
"just remove the AdobePDFViewer.plugin from the /library/internet plug- 
ins and your safari will surf again at light speed !"
