[OS X TeX] Safari, TeXShop, TeXLive

On my Imac, Safari is very very long for displaying pdf files (more
than one minute for a 2 pages LaTeX-originated file), while with
Firefox, the displaying is quasi instantaneous.

It seems that Safari uses an internal pdf-displayer, while Firefox
first downloads the file, then opens it with Preview. Could it be
possible that the slowness of Safari be caused by the changes in
ghostscript, etc. made when installing TeXShop or TeXLive?

I use TeXLive 2008.

Thanks for any help.
