I just checked
   http://ctan.math.utah.edu/ctan/tex-archive/systems/mac/mactex/
   http://gentoo.chem.wisc.edu/tex-archive/systems/mac/mactex/
I don't see any MacTeX packages (other than MacTeXtras) later than 20- 
Mar-2009. Am I missing something?
