[OS X TeX] First Page Header vs. Subsequent Pages

Hi,

As always, thanks ahead of time for your help.

I've been looking for an automated method to create a first page header that is different from all the subsequent pages headers.

I've been using fancyhdr to do this, but have to insert a \newpage at the end of the first page, and then redefine the header.

I'm hoping there is a better way.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
