This package is not supported anymore. Could be you've run into a bug  
where this runs=2 is assumed to belong to the LaTeX kernel. What  
happens when you move at least the runs=2 option to the top of the list?

Your example would also work with ps4pdf or pst-pdf package...

There's something the technicians need to learn from the artists. If  
it isn't aesthetically pleasing, it's probably wrong.
