Indeed

I just thought I would remind us that the "good old days … they were
terrible." (But of course I will stick with 2.14 for at least another
year or so.)

Well, I leave 2.18 to you, Ladies and Gentlemen of the vanguard. As
for me I am perfectly content to plod along with last year's
technology (I still remember the choice: pencil and eraser or
typewriter and white out and, either way, scissors and rubber
cement.) ;-)))
