[OS X TeX] TexShop suddenly can't find pdflatex.fmt (even though it's there)

Just to add that there are some other things not present in TL 2008
which were in TL 2007. My initial attempts to typeset failed for this
reason. In my case, I think I had to install morehelp and floatflt but
I'm sure there are other gaps, too.
