Howdy,

Try to disable and then enable the lucida map:

sudo updmap-sys --disable lucida.map
sudo updmap-sys --enable Map lucida.map

and is the lucida.map mentioned in the output of the --enable?

It appears that pdftex is reading the correct map file (in texmf-var)  
so I don't think you have a problem with a personal map file  
overriding the system map file.
