Yes.

When you ran updmap did you tell it to enable any of the additional map
files? If getnonfreefonts doesn't run updmap (or doesn't do so
correctly), you'd need to do something like:
updmap --enable Map=ua1.map
or
sudo updmap-sys --enable Map=ua1.map
If that doesn't help, try
updmap --disable Map=ua1.map
updmap --enable Map=ua1.map
or the updmap-sys equivalents. mktexlsr is irrelevant if you're
installing in your personal TeX tree.
