One can see 1.16 already on CTAN (from Nov 24)

So few days more


General notice: not MacOSX-specific questions (like this one) should
be addressed to other mailing lists (texhax,  tex-live etc depending
on the topic): they have much better chances to be answered there. In
particular CTAN and TL maintainers seem to be linux folks.

There is at least some TeX beyond MacOSX :-)
