[OS X TeX] pdftricks and Texlive 2008 ?

Not so fast. Note that I copied the message to tex-live. This is a
list very frequented by CTAN and TL maintainers, so hopefully they
will notice, update on CTAN, update on TL and in the not distant
future sudo tlmgr update --all brings a new pdftricks

So, you can wait or install pdftricks manually, but then put them either in

/usr/local/texlive/texmf-local/tex/latex
/usr/local/texlive/texmf-local/doc/latex

(and run sudo texhash) or in

~/Library/texmf/tex/latex
~/Library/texmf/doc/latex


Putting in distribution TDS would be wrong (but without any consequences)
