[OS X TeX] SVG and MetaPost

Hi, all,

This may be OT, and pointers to better places to dig are appreciated.

I'm looking for a way to get SVG from MetaPost (using Mac OS X).  I  
found one program, pdf2svg, that could work, but it has a dependency  
that I'd rather avoid (glib).  It would work on Linux, but that  
doesn't help me.
