[OS X TeX] biblio problems

I have been using the apalike bibliography style that gives citations  
of the form [author_last_name, year]. The biblio definitions are as  
follows

\bibliographystyle{apalike}
\bibliography{Biblio/publishers,Biblio/publications,Biblio/misc,Biblio/ 
refs}

This used to work properly, but now I am getting the citations  
numbered (e.g., [120]) rather than the format above. I can't figure  
out what I may have messed up. Any suggestions would be much  
appreciated.
