It should work with the following:

$ tlmgr --gui update

You can set up a path for "texmflocal" like:

~/Library/texmf/
	bibtex/bst (for additional style files)
	tex/latex/svn-multy/svn-multy.sty (for the svn-multi package)

) and the linked documentation.
