You can see whether a running application is a PowerPC application  
(and hence running with the help of "Rosetta" on an Intel Mac), or an  
Intel one in Activity Monitor  (in the Utilities Directory) in the  
column "Kind".

I never had the bug, but for the people that did, maybe that helps to  
check Dick's theory.
