[OS X TeX] Question about MacTex

When you add files to directories inside /usr/local/texlive... you  
have to

sudo texhash

in Terminal.app.

You have to put the texmf directory inside your Library directory;  
that is, your HOME texmf directory is, on the Mac, $HOME/Library/ 
texmf, and you have to create subdirectories there, like ~/Library/ 
texmf/tex/latex and ~/Library/texmf/bibtex/bst.

There is no need to texhash here.
