[OS X TeX] [OT] *.sty files included in manuscript.tex?

Thanks William - 2 questions though:
1 ) do I still need to call the different packages with the \usepackage
commands if I include the style files in the main tex file?
2) And is there a specific place where the included style files wrapped in
\makeat* have to go?
