[OS X TeX] MacTex Distribution Updates?

Just one quick (sorry, I am in a hurry right now) comment on this:
Check out the archive of this list, we had a discussion on this a
while ago. There you can find information on the update policy of the
MacTeX distro.
Note that iInstaller will not necessarily update the packages even if
we should get an update from Gerben. If you want up to date packages
there are really only two ways: install by hand or the Miktex package
manager (mpm) which comes for Unix as a command line tool (again
searching the archive will show you that a number of people are
happily using it - including myself).
