[OS X TeX] Philokalia Package

Hi! I was trying to use the philokalia package to introduce some  
ancient greek text in my paper, but it doesn't work. I invoke the  
package in the preamble under the option "local" but XeLaTex does not  
seem able to find the font file needed. I thought I should install  
the font in the computer's font book but it didn't work either.
Any help or experience with ancient (polytonic) greek text in XeLaTex  
is welcome.
