[OS X TeX] Multiple Search/Replace in one script?

Not really. I broke down and just wrote an AppleScript which drives  
TextEdit.app using GUI-scripting. Ugly.

For my part, I'd like to see a special-purpose tool for this in Mac  
OS X --- something coded up as a Service would be ideal. Even better  
would be if it had a front-end along the lines of ``ReplaceEm'' (a  
Windows app available at http://www.orbit.org/replace/) for creating  
the search-replaces.
