[OS X TeX] LLNCS or similar TOC

Hello there,

i need help wit creating a paper. I use llncs (lecture notes in  
computer science) for now. The only problem i have is the unfamiliar  
Table Of Contents. Normally a paper doesn't have one ? But I have to  
insert one.
Trying to overwrite the \def\tableofcontents section from the normal  
article doesn't help. I need a normal TOC like article would produce  
with section / subsection entries...
