Thanks a lot: your explanation is a good clarification to me about 
Spotlight (which I have no habit of using). So, wrt  Axel's 
suggestion: I do not have /usr/loca/... in Spotlight's indexing. I 
have no explanation for the i-Installer crash the other night.
