The same is with my downloads which are the latest.

I have the latest upgrade of TeXLive-2007 with texlive-2007-beamerpatch.dmg (from math.edu)
with the link at:

<http://www.tug.org/mactex/morepackages.html>

roussankas-computer:/usr/local rosi$ kpsewhich --format="TeX system
documentation" beameruserguide.pdf
/usr/local/texlive/2007/texmf-dist/doc/latex/beamer/doc/beameruserguide.pdf

and for TeXLive-2007 and gwTeX, respectively:

roussankas-computer:/usr/local rosi$ find . -name "beameruserguide.pdf" -print
./gwTeX/texmf.texlive/doc/latex/beamer/doc/beameruserguide.pdf
./texlive/2007/texmf-dist/doc/latex/beamer/doc/beameruserguide.pdf

It seems that your beamer documentation is correctly placed in the directory
for documentation of additionally downloaded packages. While, on my
machine, it is in the /usr/local/texlive/2007/texmf-dist, correctly
because beamer (v. 3.07) is included in the TeXLive distributions.

Perhaps fixing his link was forgotten.
