I know some people here will jump at the mere mention of Word, but...

One or two days ago looking at the TeX interview corner I noticed a
new interview, from David Carlisle of LaTeX 3 fame <http://
www.tug.org/interviews/interview-files/david-carlisle.html>. He seems
very lucid about the present and possible future role of TeX in the
ever-changing XML-based world we're moving to. He also mentions the
inspirational role of TeX in the design of the math layout engine in
MS Office 2007, and refers to a blog entry of one of the engineers
involved:

Personally I found this very interesting and enjoyable to read.
