[OS X TeX] Installation of Lucida fonts?

After all of this math typography discussion I decided to purchase  
the complete set of Lucida fonts from TUG. So far I can't get  
anything to work.

Here is what I've done:
    1. I've unzipped lucida-complete.zip in my ~/Library/texmf  
directory.
       All the files seemed to go in their proper places.
    2. Run
          sudo mktexlsr ~/Library/texmf

 From what I have read this ought to work. However, the test script  
(typeset from TeXShop 2.10, Mac OS X 10.4.10)

    \documentclass{article}
    \usepackage[T1]{fontenc}
    \usepackage{textcomp}
    \usepackage{lucidabr}
    \begin{document}
    Here’s some text. And here’s some math:
    \[
    \phi(x)=\int_{-\infty}^{x} e^{-x^{2}/2}
    \]
    Euro and copyright symbols are available:
    \texteuro \textcopyright \textbullet.
    \end{document}

can't find any lucida fonts.

For example the missfont.log lists

    mktexpk --mfmode / --bdpi 600 --mag 0+417/600 --dpi 417 hlcrima
    mktexpk --mfmode / --bdpi 600 --mag 0+417/600 --dpi 417 hlcry
    mktexpk --mfmode / --bdpi 600 --mag 0+417/600 --dpi 417 hlhr8r

but ~/Library/texmf/ls-R shows

    ./fonts/tfm/bh/lucida:
       hlcrima.tfm
       hlcry.tfm
       hlhr8r.tfm

What is going on? How can I install the complete set of Lucida fonts  
(given that I have paid $90 for the complete set)?
