Yes

Absolutely, rock bottom minimal.

My suggestion would be to split the manual in two: Part One for  
people like me, Part Two for people like the rest of you. The idea is  
that I would be lost in Part Two and the rest of you would be bored  
and annoyed by Part One. I really think that the two populations are  
almost completely disjoint.
