[OS X TeX] Equation Service/Editor Recommendation?

Thanks to everyone who suggested I try LaTeXiT.

I have this installed and am using it now.

In case the author is reading this, I have a
small suggestion for improving LaTeXiT...

+ Please permit the user to select a transparent
   background "color" for the equation/text.

I can do this as an extra step after I have the
PDF in my PowerPoint presentation, but it would
be nice to avoid the extra pointing & clicking.
