[OS X TeX] Updating Gerbens teTeX

The first one I already know and the second one was very interesting.

I think that means I don't have to uninstall the current teTeX  
distribution when I for example decide to install MacTeX on my  
system. But for saving space on my harddisc I will delete the old  
stuff. How should it be done in the right way? Do I have to delete  
only the teTex-folder under usr/local or ois there something else?
