/usr/texbin is already there, and placed before /usr/local/teTeX/bin/
powerpc-apple-darwin-current. So I thought it meant that /usr/texbin
has got priority?

"/usr/local/teTeX/bin/powerpc-apple-darwin-current" is here because
of the virtual package "system-tetex" from Fink. I am also a TeXMacs
user, and TeXMacs needs teTeX. "system-tetex" tells TeXMacs to use
Gerben Wierda's teTeX instead of Fink's teTeX.
