[OS X TeX] Aspell not working

Hello!

Well I had a working LaTex installation including a working
CocoAspell on my G3 iBook. I moved my stuff with migration assistent
to my new MBP. Obviously Aspell (PowerPC-version) didn#t work. Then I
installed the Intel-version, but it didn't work.

THEN I got rid of the receipts and again installed CocoAspell (Intel)
and a couple of dictionaries (German, Italian Polish etc.). The added
dictiuonaries were compiled without problems, are not greyd out and
can be selected in the control-pane.

Spellchecking with the buitl in OSX-Spellchecker worked. When
selecting an Aspell-dictionary via Spellchecking (checking on the fly
is selected) I get either an error beep and no function (doesn't find
errors).

I wonder what to try next: uninstall all traces off CocoAspell
including dictionaries, services, pref-files and restart from scratch?

Other suggestins? Any Terminal magic or Logfile magic?

Greetings,
Rolf
