[OS X TeX] texdoc and catalogue in texlive 2007

In teTeX the manual for geometry is the first one: geometry.pdf;
there is no manual.pdf in .../doc/latex/geometry/
I can't think of any reason why `` texdoc geometry '' doesn't open
geometry.pdf.
