[OS X TeX] Is this geometry behavior correct?

Howdy,

I've got two geometry.cfg files in the TeX distribution I'm using  
(gwTeX). One is only ``seen'' when you are running xelatex (i.e., it  
is in the .../tex/xelatex/... branch of the tree which is not  
searched when using (pdf)latex) and the other is in the .../doc/...  
branch; so there is no geometry.cfg file when using latex+etc. or  
pdflatex.

I agree. Maaten's seems to be the best (short term---at least in  
geologic terms) solution.

I was mostly interested in the ``strange'' (to me at least) behavior  
and can live with it.
