[OS X TeX] how do you push an array leftwards ?

*I* am stupid. The problem is not with the Mail text editor, but with  
the font used by Mail to typeset the messages : Helvetica 12pt. This  
font can be changed in Mail preferences, but nevertheless I will  
stick to Helevetica.
