[OS X TeX] Rowland's data loss was indeed an i-Installer bug. Update available.

When Rowland reported data loss one and a half year ago, I was unable  
to get clear what had happened. But the issue has been keeping me  
thinking It was clear to me that Rowland experienced data loss, I was  
however unsure what could have caused it.

Yesterday I decided to revisit these older messages and I noticed one  
remark that led me to a possible scenario that could have caused his  
experience. And this led to the discovery of a potential harmful bug.

I'l describe the bug in the release message.
