[OS X TeX] texhash-ing and ~/Library tex directory

	Hi all,

I have a few style files and such installed into ~/Library/texmf/
[various subdirectories, including /latex]. I'm using the GW texlive
distribution, from the 10 November MacTeX distribution. (I'm on a
PPC, OS 10.4.8.)

I've "sudo texhash"ed a couple of times, to include those style
files and packages for my use (including pdfsync), but TeX seems not
to know they are there, because I keep getting the error "LaTeX
Error: File `pdfsync.sty' not found".

	What have I missed?

Best,
-N
