[OS X TeX] Three new MacTeX install packages

Just as a matter of curiosity: why the customisations of TeXLive by  
Gerben (GWTeXLive) don't make their way up to the official Tex  
Live-2006 distribution? In the mid term, is there any need of a  
customised version of TeXLive for the Mac, or would it be better that  
the Mac community contributes to the official TeXLive distribution?
