[OS X TeX] eqn. numbering when using array

in an other answer it was already suggested to use align of the
AMS-Package.
Additionally I'd replace clauses like \mathrm{three:} by
\text{three:<space>}. <space> denotes an appropriate spacing
command to get a good looking document.
