[OS X TeX] Multipage enumerate within a longpage

I'm not familiar with longtable. However, it sounds like longtable is  
not breaking the column. If this only occurs once or twice, perhaps  
placing a \columnbreak will suffice. It's not ideal, but it may solve  
the problem quickly.
