[OS X TeX] MacTeX inputs

Alan,

Great---it works for me. It seems your "\end" is unintended? Also, I'm 
familiar with "[\hsize = 0.4 in]" so the syntax "[width=.4\hsize]" 
confuses me. What dimension does the .4 refer to? (I suppose it means 
scale "image.pdf" to 40% width.) Can you send me to a reference that 
explains these things?
