[OS X TeX] Are two bib files needed to get correct issue numbers?

Another solution might be to code the issue field in the bibtex file as
\issue{n}, and the define \issue in you latex file as identity or noop.
This presupposes that the bibstyle accepts anything as issue number, not
just numerical values.
