I am disappointed. I thought the LaTeX part of my TeX installation
would be updated. At least this is what I understood from the package
name, and from its readme:
> This is Gerben Wierda's LaTeX updater i-Package for TeX for Mac OS
> X. It installs the latest LaTeX macro package on top of an existing
> TeX install.
I misunderstood what "on top of" actually means. I would suggest put
warnings in both i-packages, the LaTeX updater and the TeX one. I'm
afraid not many of your users know about the texmf.local affair, etc.
