Yes, I can use the back button to return to the page where I clicked  
on a link. Thank you for clarification. But from a user point of view  
there is no difference what I previously did to change the visible  
page. The back button always should you take back to the last page.  
No matter if you got to the current page via hyperref, entering a  
page number or using pdfsync.
So I consider this to be a bug.
