It was a bit more than one word (and it's done now).

I had to remove redundant index entries containing 157 company names  
from a file --- in retrospect I could've copied the names and the  
surrounding tags from the source spreadsheet into a file and built a  
sed script from that --- needed to go through it by hand anyway  
though, and didn't think that'd save sufficient time to make it  
worthwhile.
