[OS X TeX] TeXShop on a MacBook

I don't have a MacBook Pro, but I'm curious as to whether you've  
tried converting it to ppc-only with lipo and testing?  Or isn't  
there a way to force an application to launch using Rosetta?  That  
might narrow down the list of possible problems.
