:-) But seriously, weeding through stuff I'm not interested in is not my
idea of fun. I accept that it goes with the territory of being on a
public mailing list, but there are degrees, and I think this list's
signal-to-noise is deteriorating.

Indeed. However, I'd love to continue to read interesting and useful
posts about TeX on OS X, which, correct me if I'm wrong [*], is what
this list is about.

Asking that we remain on-topic is not the same as censorship. I'm not
