Thanks for letting me know.  If you could send a sample (see my reply  
to Christian), that would be helpful.  In his case, it looks like the  
slowdown is in getting the Spotlight (Finder) comment for files; we  
added that in 1.2.6 to work around an Apple bug that loses them  
whenever you copy/move a file.  Unfortunately, it requires sending an  
AppleEvent to the Finder.
