texdoc is a standard TeX distribution thing.  So are many other  
things that many people have not heard of, such as fontinst,  
kpathtexsea, etc.  And, in any case, this discussion has absolutely  
nothing to do with TeXShop or the quality of its documentation, as  
texdoc is not part of TeXShop, but rather of the underlying TeX  
distribution.
