I think the problem may be here. The "lucidabr" package is a complete
solution for both text and math fonts and symbols. Hence when using
it, as far as I know, neither "amsfonts" nor "amssymb" should be loaded.
And to avoid a different confusion: One should still load "amsmath"
if the niceties of math typesetting are wanted. And better before
"lucidabr", then this one will redefine a few of its commands.
