[OS X TeX] LaTeXiT service causing trouble

One of the recent LaTeXiT updates has added Services short-cut such  
that Cmd-. typesets math inline. This means that every single time  
that I type Cmd-. to dismiss a dialog, I get LaTeXiT instead. Is  
there any way to remove either the short-cut or the service altogether?

I never use Services and I have never needed to remove one before.  
After some poking around, I couldn't find a way to do it.
