[OS X TeX] no file type lco

Morning.

Is it a bug, or is it a feature? In the save window the pull down  
menue does not contain the file type lco. But this file type is -- at  
least for german users -- very common. Are there some special reasons  
for omitting the lco file type in these pull down menue?
